# THE SPIRIT OF UNDERSTANDING; THE ANOINTING OF GOD

~And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.~
[Jeremiah 31:34]

In 1 John 2:27 the Holy Bible says; "As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him."

#IN CHRIST YOUR GENESIS BEGINS FROM THE REVELATION

By simple meaning; REVELATION means disclosing something previously hidden or secret and GENESIS means origin or beginning or start or [the time or a circumstance of something’s coming into being]. This is to say until when you are revealed that’s when your genesis can make sense but before that it is senseless to others, it doesn't taste i.e. live through neither it is unaccountable and can sometimes destroy you. Yeah! It is truth that your genesis begins when God reveals you, and before that it is trouble, discouragement and persecution.

As a Christian it is your duty to hold tight your FAITH, a mere man only sees results and value you based on that results. It was not easy for Jesus to stand firm till the end whereby the value of His results was determined by the Glory of God in Him. Regardless all He was able to explain Himself His genesis before even that revelation, yet no one could understand even His disciples sometimes were shaken by His word. The bible says in Isaiah 53:1; “Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”, therefore if they did to God how about you. It was easy to understand Him and believe Him from Genesis after Revelation but before that it was difficult to fathom among ourselves that JESUS IS THE LORD and ALMIGHTY GOD indeed.

#IN CHRIST BE SPIRITUAL EUNUCH FOR THE SAKE OF KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

The Bible says in Mathew 19:11-12; But Jesus said unto them, "All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.”

The eunuch system; the prophet from Zimbabwe said in his church there was one girl who went on fasting for 29 days in the prayer mountain where the church use to go for prayer.  And the lady fasted for 29 days dry fast until near death just for his prophet to be safe and for her to be aware of anything his prophet (his father) is going through.

There is a eunuch on the word of God; a eunuch is one who has gone through process of castration can’t produce himself/herself, no kids no sons, no daughters, which means there is never being a generation after you. Jesus said about categories of eunuchs; that there are those who were born eunuchs from their mothers’ wombs, second there are those who were made eunuchs by men, they went through castration done through other people may be they were forced to get into it and the lastly category which I want to talk about is that one which Jesus said “there are those who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of kingdom of heaven”, and Jesus said at last he who wants to receive let him receive it and remember Jesus began by saying what I am going to talk (about eunuch) only few will understand it.

That’s My King!

The Bible says my King is a seven way King,
He’s the King of the Jews, that’s a racial King,
He’s the King of Israel, That’s a national King,
He’s the King of righteousness,
He’s the King of the ages,
He’s the King of Heaven.
He’s the King of glory.
He’s the King of Kings and He’s the Lord of Lords.

That’s my King. Well, I I wonder do you know Him?

David said the Heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork.
My King is a sovereign King.
No means of measure can define His limitless love.
No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supplies.
No barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessings.
He’s enduringly strong.
He’s entirely sincere.
He’s eternally steadfast.
He’s immortally graceful.
He’s imperially powerful.
He’s impartially merciful.

Do you know Him?

He’s the greatest phenomenon that has ever crossed the horizon of this world.
He’s God’s Son.
He’s a sinner’s Savior.
He’s the centerpiece of civilization.
He stands in the solitude of Himself.
He’s august and He’s unique.
He’s unparalleled.
He’s unprecedented.
He is the loftiest idea in literature.
He’s the highest personality in philosophy.
He’s is the supreme problem in higher criticism.
He’s the fundamental doctrine of true theology.
He is the cardinal necessity for spiritual religion.
He’s the miracle of the age.
He’s He yes He is He is the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him.
He’s the only one qualified to be an all-sufficient Savior.

I wonder if you know Him today?

He supplies strength for the weak.
He’s available for the tempted and the tried.
He sympathizes and He saves.
He strengthens and sustains.
He’s guards and He guides.
He heals the sick.
He cleansed the lepers.
He forgives sinners.
He discharges debtors.
He delivers the captives.
He defends the feeble.
He blesses the young.
He serves the unfortunate.
He regards the aged.
He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meager.

I wonder if you know Him?

Well, My King He’s is a key,
He’s the key to knowledge.
He’s the wellspring of wisdom.
He’s the doorway of deliverance.
He’s the pathway of peace.
He’s the roadway of righteousness.
He’s the highway of holiness.
He’s the gateway of glory.

Do you know Him?

Well, His office is manifold.
His promise is sure.
His life is matchless.
His goodness is limitless.
His mercy is everlasting.
His love never changes.
His Word is enough.
His grace is sufficient.
His reign is righteous.
And His yoke is easy.
And His burden is light.
I wish I could describe Him to you but..He’s inde… Yeah, yeah, yeaaaah. He’s indescribable. Yes He is,
Good God. He He’s indescribable. Yes. He’s indescribable,
He’s incomprehensible,
He’s invincible.
He’s irresistible.
Well, you can’t get him out of your mind.
You can’t you can’t get Him off of your hand.
You can’t outlive him.
And You can’t live without Him.
Well, the Pharisees couldn’t stand Him, but they found out they couldn’t stop Him.
Pilate couldn’t find any fault in Him.
The witnesses couldn’t get their testimonies to agree.
Herod couldn’t kill Him.
Death couldn’t handle Him and the grave couldn’t hold Him.

Yeah, That’s my king. That’s my King, Yes.

He always has been
And He always will be
I’m talking about
He had no predecessor
and He’ll have no successor
There was nobody before Him
and there’ll be nobody after Him
You can’t impeach Him
and He’s not going to resign

That’s my King!
Praise the Lord

Dr. S.M. Lockridge (1993-2000) was the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in San Diego, CA from 1952-1993. This African American minister participated in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and was a prominent speaker and Baptist leader.
His legacy includes years of faithful service preaching in a variety of settings around the world. What he is best known for is a clip from a sermon where he describes Jesus.
