#ARISE, SON OF GOD!!

 

Recently I was meditating on God's word Genesis 21:1-20, I realized was not just a mere story about Abraham and Sarah or Hagar and Ishmael, or any fairy tale ever written, but indeed! the might word with the hidden secret of God's wisdom, and as for me, as I was given the understanding, that verses actually revealed Hagar and Ishmael as main characters or actors in that scene of the Holy Bible to teach me on something special and the wisdom of God, so receive my dear leader also it might be a sharpening sword to you as well.

Have you ever wondered in life, what makes people hate people suddenly those they happened to love them so much before, what makes the importance of someone varnish overnight in front of those who admired and depended on him/her so bad in the sense of making the person their preference or hope in terms of assistance in any plan they have or decision they are making? From my understanding, the answer is simple whenever you come to your realization of your own purpose on the earth, discerning the destiny you should be heading to, or mostly whenever they got what they were missing or wanted that actually resulted in you be between them to cover the gap, then, it is at that moment when you became not important to them any longer, not as important as you were before, and suddenly you turn to be a stumbling block to them. Ok, this is a story of another day.

All in all whenever challenging journey you passed through or encounter in life, that is the world side and its people and not God's, for God's turn is always excellent and rewarding, to the children He is pleased with and loves them. Back to the verses of today's devotional, let's together read the passage, I am stumbled when the Bible says; "Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him by the hand, for I will make a great nation of him." Most of the time you hear "Arise" in the Holy Bible it connects with Good news ahead of you right there. It has to do with enlarging your territory for your season that comes instantly as hearing that word. Like Isaiah 60:1-2 says "Arise, shine, your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you". You might be forsaken now or abandoned by your own, here comes the hope, Arise, for you will indeed be a great nation with abundant blessing, nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn, the prophet says in Isaiah 60:3. This is what also Paul wrote to Romans 8:19; "The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God",  so, ARISE means a world, means everything to the believer of Christ; when hearing that, do not be hardhearted for it is not a season set, but SEASON CAME. The package though comes with responsibilities but to whoever is his/her time blessed is he or she for it's worth living substituting it with everything else. Believe Christ today and be a partaker of that Word.

Remember the verses, Hagar and Ishmael were sent away after Sarah got what she was missing for so long, meaning what previous was her benefit turned to be a competitor or challenger. Now what amazed me most is when the Bible says in verses 15-17; "when the water in the skin was gone, she left the boy under one of the bushes. Then she went off and sat down nearby, about a bowshot away, for she said, “I cannot bear to watch the boy die!” And as she sat nearby, she lifted up her voice and wept. Then God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “What is wrong, Hagar? Do not be afraid, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he lies''.  What now made me amazed, is what I found that it was Hagar who lifted up her voice to the Lord and wept hard, but the result is God heard the voice of the boy and sent His Angel that told Hagar and not a boy, that God heard the voice of the boy and not Hagar who lifted her voice and wept. The big lesson here is that children of God can carry the cries of many it is so, that you will find he is the founder of this organization here, she is the founder of that ministry there, it is all about burdens in your heart, what burdens you in your heart for others determine your eternity journey and God's reward in your life and this is only when your cries meet the cries of others, the victims, then paap! God answers you on behalf of the victim solely for the victim, i.e. you receive it as a messenger to deliver to the intended victim whom God favored in that time. As sons of God, you ought to be ready all the time, make yourself clean, your cloth be clean, your lamp is on, as a vessel of God, Gpc, God needs you somewhere now to meet the desire of His beloved, the question is; are you ready?

As Hagar did. Until when you have that compassion in your heart about others who are oppressed, captives, prisoners needing freedom, brokenhearted needing healing, you are not yet as good as the vessel God wanted for His services. Carrying the weight of others' troubles make your way to His way, I mean how can somebody help without internal touch within him/her, the moving of your heart towards the victim in a situation determines how God can use you to heal that situation on the victim.

This is my prayer, pray with me, my blessed leader; I pray in you, ooh! Lord let others' cries be presented to you by my cries, my weeping toward them i.e. that earnest feeling of wanting to help, that sincere and intense conviction in me about others be intensified. Say to your heart today with me let my compassion on others rise for God's glory, let me be indeed the help to the victim in need of God's touch.

#IMANI NI KUSIKIA NENO LA MUNGU; KUMSIKIA KRISTO ALIYE HAI

Warumi 10:17 katika Biblia yasema; ‘Imani chanzo chake ni kusikia, na kusikia huja kwa Neno la Mungu (Yesu Kristo)’.  

Hivyo imani ni zao la kusikia si kuona japo kushuhudia kwa macho kunaunga juhudi kwa sehemu za kuihuisha imani iliyozalishwa na kusikia, na kusikia kwa Neno la Mungu (Yesu Kristo).

Imani huhitaji masikio zaidi kuliko macho sababu kuona kwa macho hakuimarishi imani. Awapo Kipofu asikiaye na kiziwi aonaye, imani kwa kipofu asikiaye itajengeka mara na kuimarika zaidi kuliko kiziwi, kwa maana kuona kwa macho hakufikiri bali kusikia huambatana na fikra.

Pia biblia inasema ‘Imani ni kuwa na hakika ya mambo yatarajiwayo, ni bayana ya mambo yasiyoonekana’ (Ebrania 11:1). 

Imani si kwa kuoneshwa bali kwa kulisikia Neno la Mungu, unaamini sio kwa sababu umeona bali umesikia, waweza ona, ukiona utakuwa umeona iliyokawaida ya macho ila usikiapo tu imani huzaliwa.

Mtu huwa na matarajio juu ya kitu ama jambo sababu ya Neno la Mungu alilolisikia na wala sio muujiza aliouona. Muujiza hautakuletea wokovu ila Neno la Mungu (Mathayo 11: 20-24).

Kwa hivyo, kule kusubiri mpaka kuona ishara na miujiza ndipo umuamini Kristo kumewapoteza wengi na kuwaponza hata watumishi wa Mungu makini kabisa, yeah! ndio, kulekutamani kuona na kuonesha hata visivyoagizo la Mungu. 

Yatosha kulisikia na kulipapasa Neno la Mungu (1 Yohana 1:1). 

Kua imani, kwa nguvu ya kusikia (masikio) maana ile mbegu iliyo Neno la Mungu ni msingi wa yote maishani, japo dunia yajali zaidi vya kuona na macho hayatosheki (Mithali 27:20) na madanganyo yake hayajengi kamwe imani. 

Sema na nafsi itulie na ijue hauiishi miujiza bali unaiishi Baraka ya Mungu.

Sasa kama ambavyo mwanadamu hawezi kugawanyika na kuwa zaidi ya mmoja yaani kama Recknald ni Baba, Mume na Mhasibu atakuwa ndiyo yuleyule Recknald mmoja daima, ndivyo ilivyo MUNGU ni mmoja regardless His manifestations to human beings. Hivyo kama basi ushuhuda wa mwanadamu unapokelewa kuwa ni kweli basi wa Mungu ni mkuu zaidi, ushuhuda wa Mungu ndio huu amemshuhudia mwanawe, yaani mwana wa Roho Mtakatifu, full stop. Amini leo kama bado.

Na hii ni hakika na kweli kwamba Roho Mtakatifu ndiye Mwalimu wetu, Mfariji wetu, Msaidizi wetu, huyu Mungu mmoja ndiye huyo huyo ndiye yeye kwetu na wa mfanano wetu wala si kitu, ama njiwa ama wa ishara yeyote unayodhani wewe kumlinganisha au kumfananisha kwayo, ni wa mfanano wetu wanadamu yaani Mungu.

   Huyo ndio habari njema ya dunia tangu kupaa kwa Yesu Kristo kwenda mbinguni na mbali, mbali zaidi ya mbingu, hakuna habari mpya zaidi ya hiyo ya Mungu pamoja nasi daily (yaani Roho Mtakatifu ndani yetu). Huyu yupo live duniani yupo nasi sasa hapa hapa duniani ndani yetu anatusaidia katika udhaifu wetu hatujui kusali vyema anatuwezesha tutiwe nguvu ya kushinda katika yote, kupitia yeye na kwa ajili yake ndani yetu tunasali, tunaomba, tunabarikiwa na kushinda yote, tuna huo uweza kwake na uwezo katika yote kwa maana ndiye yeye ayakamilishaye yote ndani yetu; yaani Roho Mtakatifu ndiye Mungu baba, ndiye Mungu mwana hapo, wala huwezi kabisa tofautisha watatu walio mmoja ndani yetu, ni ahadi na ilishatimia kwetu.

   Hivyo tembea kifua mbele sio kwa sababu ya nguvu za mwili wako, ama akili zako na utashi, ama uwezo wa kufanya kitu, ama utajiri wako na mali, bali kwa kuwa makao makuu (HQ) ya Roho Mtakatifu ni ndani ya wateule wake waliokombolewa kwa damu yake yaani Yesu Kristo.

  Kama umeamini katika hili na Yesu Kristo kafanyika Bwana na mwokozi wa maisha yako, yote haya ni yako, kwa kuwa ukombozi na uweza wa kukuunganisha katika neema hii una yeye Bwana, hivyo nasema barikiwa na Roho Mtakatifu siku zote katika jina la Yesu Kristo, amina.

#WHAT ABOUT ALTAR CALLS?

Some facts about it:
1. The altar call is simply and completely absent from the pages of the N.T. It is historically absent until the 19th century, and its use at that time (via Charles Finney) was directly based upon bad theology and a man-centered, manipulative methodology.
2. The altar call very easily confuses the physical act of “coming forward” with the spiritual act of “coming to Christ.” These two can happen simultaneously, but too often people believe that coming to Christ is going forward (and vice-versa).
3. The altar call can easily deceive people about the reality of their spiritual state and the biblical basis for assurance. The Bible never offers us assurance on the ground that we “went forward.”
4. The altar call can sometimes mislead to think that salvation (or any official response to God’s Word) happens primarily on Sundays, only at the end of the service, and only “up front.”
             These facts as for me it makes sense, so assurance that Jesus Christ is in a person, is the manifestation of Holy Spirit in that person and not just 'coming forward' as a means that imply 'coming to Jesus'.
             Kwa namna hiyo iwe umeenda mbele madhabahuni ama umesimama ulipo kanisani, iwe ni jumapili kanisani ama siku za kati ya wiki mtaani, kama Warumi 10:9-10 inavyosema katika Biblia takatifu, shida sasa haiko katika kukiri kwa kinywa (wengi huambiwa wakiri na hufanya hivyo kama mtumishi wa Mungu awaongozavyo katika ukiri huo), bali ni kule kuamini moyoni ili uokolewe (sasa ni kwa kiwango gani umeamini? umeamini kwa asilimia mia ulichokiri kwa habari ya Bwana Yesu?).
            Kujua hilo kunafanya altar call iwe na thamani na maana iliyokusudia na Bwana, lakini ni kweli kabisa si kila anayesogea mbele ya madhabahu kukiri na kusali sala ya toba anaokolewa saa na wakati ule, sababu ya moyoni ayajuaye ni mwanadamu mwenyewe na Mungu, hivyo hata mtumishi wa Mungu amuaminishe baada ya toba ya kuwa sasa umeokoka na kuwa kiumbe kipya saa nyingine inaweza isiwe hivyo kwa wakati huo na hii inatokana na mtu mwenyewe alivyoweka moyo wake na Mungu na pia kutimia kwa majira ya Mungu kwa mtu huyo kujiliwa na Bwana.
             Nihitimishe hivi, hakuna ajuaye saa na wakati sahihi wokovu kamili ujapo kwa mwanadamu iwe mwanadamu mwenyewe ama mtumishi wa Mungu amuongozaye sala, ni Mungu ndiye ajuaye japo katika hili utayari wa moyo ni wa mwanadamu na jawabu la wokovu ni la Mungu. Tumeshuhudia wengi wakienda mbele ya kanisani kukiri na kusali sala ya toba na kisha kuishi maisha yaleyale ya zamani ya uovu, na saa nyingine wao wenyewe kukiri hawaoni tofauti ya kabla na baada ya wokovu walioambiwa kuwa wameupokea kwa Bwana huku wakiaminishwa waendelee kuishi katika imani hiyo kuwa wameshaokoka hali ya kuwa hawana shuhuda ndani yao ya kuwaaminisha katika hilo.
               Nakolezea kwa kusema; magumu sana maisha ya wokovu wa kubambikiziwa na kuaminishwa na hali ndani yako imani haijashiba kuamini hivyo, ama maisha ya wokovu wa kuiga na kuigiza, hivyo kama kweli umeokoka na nafsi yako iwe huru kwa Bwana nawe uchukie na kuacha uovu, na uwe na amani ya Kristo ndani yako katika yote ili mapenzi ya Mungu yatimizwe kwako.

#ABOUT LOVE

       During the process of translating the Holy Bible into English language, at that time English vocabularies were scarce had like 6,000 words that needed to translate like 12,000 words from Greek and Hebrew languages into what later called KJV. So, the word 'Love' that is mentioned 310 times in 280 verses of Holy Bible (KJV) implies more meaning than just common love meaning as most of us knew. Now by examining that word in its original context you will realise actually originated from 4 ancient greek terms with totally different meaning as used in Ancient Greek Bible that was then all rendered in English translation as Love;
1. Agape love (the love of God); high form of love, charity found in God which is unconditional like that one manifested in John 3:16.
2. Storge Love (Love of a parent which is protective love); this familial love referring to natural and instinctual affection.
3. Phileo Love (Brotherly or friendship love); that which only desires good things for others and is compassionate.
4. Eros Love (Passionate or Romantic Love); love which comes with feelings of arousal that are shared between people who are physically attracted to one another.
In all those four kinds, other three have no point of reference without the first one (Agape Love).
Based on above analysis you know now what kinds of love dominate you, that which you always give-out.

#SONS OF GOD

     While the creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). The beloved John wrote, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God” and, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God” (1 John 3:1, 2).
      Always going through the process of designation where God the Father is deifying us daily until we are fully "sonized". Just like Jesus our prototype as deified son of man (i.e. Son of God -'Dei Filius'), who by incarnation He brought God into man (and became God-man) and by resurrection He brought man into God (became man-God), that is, He brought His humanity (seed of David) into the divine Sonship possessing both humanity and divinity (2 Samuel 7: 12-14; Romans 1:3-4).

Hallelujah! Blessed be His Holy name JESUS,........

#HOW WONDERFUL IS A GOD'S WORD

Ooh! how wonderful is a God's Word, how wonderful is His Name, JESUS! For you have exalted your Word above all your name (Psalm 138:2). This is really really powerful and amazing.
'Heaven and Earth will pass away but God's Word stands forever'. Bible admit this (Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33, Matthew 5:18, Luke 16:17, Isaiah 40:8 and more...).
Isaiah 55:10-11 says:
'As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.'
Is it not the same word that revitalize my body and soul by making newness of me with might strength?, true  to what I am saying indeed it does, this JESUS, for me He really works in my life no matter what, so it never a mistake to be on God's side and to rely on God's word.
See how Holy Bible expound God's word;
 Eph. 6:17 calls it “the sword of the Spirit.”
 Jer. 5:14 calls it “a devouring flame.”
 Jer. 23:29 calls it “a crushing hammer.”
 John 17:17 calls it “a purifier of people.”
 Ezekiel 37:7 depicts it as the life-giving force that makes dry bones live.
 Rom. 1:16 calls it “the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.”
 and more.
So, human what more else do you want, to retain your being, stick to Him you will be safe for eternity. As for me this is my gospel, i know no other.

#YESU NINAYEMUABUDU NA KUMWAMINI

     

         Biblia imeandika Neno la Mungu lenyeuhai kwa kila kiumbe, na kutupa njia sahihi kwa mifano elekevu itujuzayo kweli ya Mungu na kwa namna ya kufunua na kuthibitisha uhusiano wa mwanadamu na Mungu ulivyozaidi ya mahusiano mengine. Ona katika kitabu cha Mwanzo 3:9 neno linasema; "Bwana Mungu akamwita Adam, akamwambia uko wapi?", sasa kwa hali ya kawaida tunajua Mungu yupo popote na anaona kwote na hivyo mlengo wa swali ulihusiana na nafasi. Kama mzazi wa kawaida kuna tofauti kubwa kumuwajibisha mtoto; 1) yule aliepata shida au kutenda kosa lakini yu katika nafasi yake 2) na yule aliepata shida au kutenda kosa hali akiwa nje ya nafasi yake, sikuzote hupokea ya heri yule aliyekosea hali yu katika nafasi yake kuliko yule aliyekuwa ametoka kwenye nafasi yake. Mzazi humwambia yule aliekatika nafasi yake japo ni mkosaji, pole na kumuelekeza vizuri namna inavyotakiwa kuwa na kufanya, kwa maonyo laini, lakini, kwa yule aliyekosa huku akiwa ametoka nafasini pake huonekana kama muasi, laana na huchochea hasira ya mzazi na hata kuitwa majina au kutamkiwa maneno yasiyo na heri maishani mwake.
         Kwa mfano huo shauku ya Mungu ni sisi tuishi katika nafasi tuliyopewa ili tusitawi, tumiliki na kutawala, wingi wa matatizo yetu ni kwa sababu ya kutokuishi katika nafasi zetu kutokana na sisi wenyewe kutokujua vyema nafasi zetu na haki zetu katika Bwana. Mwanadamu ni wa thamani sana kwa Bwana Mungu kwa kiwango kikuu kuzidi viumbe wengine hadi ametupa sisi mwongozo wakuishi maisha ya ushindi kuanzia agano la Kale mpaka Jipya. Thamani tuliyopewa hata Mfalme Daudi alijishangaa Zaburi 8:4, yaani tumestahilishwa kwa namna ya ajabu ambapo huwezi hata linganisha na yale tuyatendaye, yeye Bwana Mungu hachoki, anatupenda kwa upendo mkuu siku zote, huku toka mwanzo akituahidi ukombozi na utu upya kupitia Kristo Yesu ambaye toka mwanzo alimdhihilisha kwetu na kutufunulia namna mwanadamu apasavyo kufanya ili awezeokoka na kuishi maisha huru pasipo dhambi, jambo ambalo kiuhalisia ni gumu kutekelezeka pasipo neema iliyo katika Kristo.
Lakini haya ni mafumbo makuu ambayo toka mwanzo, Mungu alikuwa anatufunulia kuelekea ule ukombozi mkuu wa Bwana Yesu Kristo, kwa yeye kufanyika kama sadaka ya upatanisho kati yetu sisi na Mungu (1 Wakorintho 5:7);
a] Mbuzi wawili wa upatanisho katika agano la kale:
Ukisoma Walawi 16:7-10 utapata uelewa kuwa mwanadamu alipaswa kupeleka mbuzi wawili kwa Kuhani mkuu ambao walipigiwa kura; moja kwa ajili ya Bwana kama atoning sacrifice ambapo damu yake ilifanyika patanisho la yule mwanadamu na Mungu na kura nyingine ni scapegoat kwa ajili ya Azazeli ambapo mwanadamu alipaswa kuweka mikono juu ya kichwa cha scapegoat nakukiri dhambi zake zote, kisha huyo mbuzi aliyejaa dhambi za mwanadamu huacha jangwani na maovu ya yule mtu hadi kufa kwake. Na hivyo kwa namna hiyohiyo Yesu amefanyika sadaka ya upatanisho kama ilivyokuwa mbuzi wa sadaka ya dhambi na pia aliamua kuwa matokeo ya dhambi zetu kama yule scapegoat kwa kubeba dhambi ya dunia (1 Yohana 2:2) ili sisi tuwe na uzima wa milele. Katika hili sasa unawezafunguka vizuri pale Yohana Mbatizaji  (Yohana 1:29) aliposema; tazama mwanakondoo wa Mungu aichukuaye dhambi ya ulimwengu na baada ya kufunuliwa kwake huku tu akachukuliwa jangwani kujaribuni huku mzigo wa dunia ukiwa mabegani mwake.
b] Nyoka wa shaba jangwani:
Katika Hesabu 21:4-9 ufunuo wa ukombozi kama wa Mwokozi wetu Yesu Kristo ulimjia Musa kwa kufanya nyoka wa shaba ilikwamba kila mwanaisraeli kwa mouvu yake juu ya Bwana kupata nafasi ya kujipatanisha upya na kuwa wazima, kwa kigezo kuwa kila muisraeli aking'atwa na nyoka wenye sumu maana walikuwa wakiwasababishia mauti, basi atapaswa kumwangalia nyoka wa shaba aliyeangikwa mtini na pindi afanyavyo hivyo ndipo sumu ya nyoka iliwatoka na umauti uliwaacha. Na hilo fumbo Yesu Kristo alilinena wenyewe katika Yohana 3:14-17 ya kwamba;"kama Musa alivyomuinua Nyoka wa Shaba kule Jangwani,Mwana wa Adamu hana budi kuinuliwa ili kila mtu aaminiye awe na uzima wa milele katika yeye". Yesu alitufungua katika kuamini namna ukombozi unavyoweza kumjia mtu na kisha kupata uzima wa milele, kama mahesabu ama kanuni zinavyoweza kuthibitishwa na kuhakikishwa usahihi wake ndiyo ilvyo wokovu katika Kristo, kuna ukombozi na uzima katika kumtizama yeye maisha yako yote; kwa sababu vyote ni vya Bwana na vita ni vyake, hivyo amani yake iamue leo ndani yako, nafsi yako iwe huru milele.
c] Mauti ya Msalaba ya Yesu Kristo:
Kama nabii, Yesu alikuwa ni zaidi kwa maana yeye ndio neno la unabii wa biblia yote na yote ambayo hayakutoshea humo, na kama Kuhani mkuu, Yesu alikuwa zaidi maana yeye ndiyo sadaka kamili iliyothibitisha ukombozi wetu. Na ni zaidi ya mfalme kwa maana yeye ni zaidi ya vyote hana mwanzo wala mwisho, ni Alfa na Omega. Hata alipoangwika msalabani Wakolosai 2:14-15 inasema;"akiisha kuifuta ile hati iliyoandikwa ya kutushitaki kwa hukumu zake, iliyokuwa na uadui kwetu; akaiondoa isiwepo tena, akaigongomea msalabani; akiisha kuzivua enzi na mamlaka, na kuzifanya kuwa mkogo kwa ujasiri, akizishangilia katika msalaba huo."

Kufedheshwa huko msalabani hadharani kwa Yesu kulionyesha ushindi wa msalaba juu yake kwa ajili yetu sisi wanadamu na hakika nguvu na mamlaka za shetani (kuzimu na mauti) zilikomea hapo. Kama ilivyotukia kwa mbuzi wale wawili wakati wa agano la kale na kwa nyoka wa shaba wakati wa Musa, ndivyo ilivyotokea wakati wa mauti ya msalaba kuzimaliza nguvu za shetani, na hata aliposema ilikwisha alimaanisha hivyo aliona hivyo kuwa mzigo kwa azazeli alijitwishwa yeye na kwenda kubatilisha mauti na kuzimu  naye akashinda, ndio aliona hivyo kwamba sumu za nyoka ziliwatoka wote waliomtazama yeye nao wakapata uzima wa milele, hivyo ni jukumu lako kumtazama Yesu Kristo akomboe maisha yako na kukupa uzima wa milele. Kwa maana picha halisi ya yeye kuwa msalabani ilikuwa ya kwamba mwanadamu mdhambi mwenye mauti ndani, na yeye Yesu kufanyika dhambi na mauti ili kuvuta dhambi na mauti vilivyokuwa mwilini wa mwanadamu na kumfanya mpya pindi amtazamapo yeye, na yeye kufanyika hiyo sadaka ya dhambi ya upatanisho na Mungu. Amini leo ndugu okoka leo, ukiwa kwa Yesu Kristo ya kale yamepita tazama ni mwanzo mpya wa maisha yako.
